Vórtice Artesana & Design has partnered with binational architectural artist and designer Alvaro Alvarez, whose acute sensibility for hospitality design, paired with his experience in creating transcendental spaces, brings a focused and relevant perspective to our work.

With his studio based in San Ysidro, CA, at the crux of a cross – border community between San Diego in the U.S. and Tijuana in Mexico, Alvaro’s strengths lie in developing tasteful spaces that are culturally resonant, texturally rich, and grounded in operational common sense. Our joint process begins at project inception, creating a conceptual identity through a compelling visual narrative that explores materials, spatial organization, lighting, furniture, and artistic details; resulting in a refined and innovative proposal for each project, which the Vórtice team executes with precision and excellence.
